LEE HOMESTEAD

Yes, I have gone a little Blog-happy, as you can see! I have been so excited to have Angie here helping me once again, that I have gone a little crazy. Maybe I will be competent to do this on my own now! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

CREEK SWIMMERS

Sierra, Aunt Marty, and Daniel having a fun time playing in the creek.

BIRTHDAYS

We celebrated Dane's "40-something" birthday, as he called it, yesterday.

Caleb also had a birthday earlier this week.

MULTIPLICATION

Above (top) is a picture of our most recent batch of baby ducks (10 in all) which are only a few days old.

Next is Rocky the Rooster and one of his ladies.

Below Rocky is Mamaw with two of our baby chickens. There are 12 of them -- 5 yellow ones and 7 black ones.

The last picture is of our first set of baby ducks. We had 24 at once because two mothers hatched eggs on the same day. There are 12 or 15 of these left (we've stopped counting ; too busy trying to keep them FED.)

GARDENING

be proud?!)

Dane's Bountiful Harvest
He had a really nice garden this year with yellow squash,
zucchini, green beans, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber,
potatoes, bell peppers, lettuce, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, and
turnips. The second picture is of his head-high marigolds and
sunflowers. He also had strawberries and black raspberries
earlier this summer, and now we have ABUNDANT wild
blackberries everywhere.
